Once upon a time in a far away land there lived at a little girl who dreamed of beautiful dresses fit for a princess. This far away land also has knights and princes in their finest suits and armor.
If you are a parent of children between the ages of 2-8 then you’re probably sitting on a gold mine when it comes to dress-up clothing for your little ones. I have to admit that while I loved this phase when my children were small, I never did like the high-end price tag on many of these costumes. Am I right, it can be ridiculous?
I am so excited to announce that we have partnered with Little Adventures and will be offering all my readers a 15% discount code valid until April 15, 2017. (lapromo-tbmd) and one lucky winner will be selected to win a $30 in-store credit to be applied to the purchase of a costume of their choosing.
What is Little Adventures? Two mothers who saw a void in the costume market. Their adventure started in 2002 when the Little Adventures was born with a view to providing quality costumes at an affordable price. I have personally browsed their entire catalog and these costumes are simply magical and it’s no wonder they are selling like hot cakes. I kid you not, in their first year they put together over 2,000 costumes and sold them at local craft fairs.
I was incredibly fortunate to be selected to complete a product review on behalf of Little Adventures in exchange for a free costume of my choosing. I selected the Spanish Princess dress for my little niece, Shyanna, aged 7.
Ordering/Shipping Process: I can not comment on the ordering process as I made my selection through a direct contact. However, I can tell you that this dress was shipped and delivered to my front door in less than 2 weeks. Yes, shipped to my door in Canada. All costumes can be shipped internationally.
Sizing: I was unsure of the sizing guide as you can never really rely on the online charts. I selected the large, aged 7-9 dress and as you can see the dress fit perfectly over her normal clothing.
Fabric/Material: The fabric was smooth and almost stretch-liked. The dress moved nicely with each jump and spring that my niece made. We loved that the dress itself has no buttons or zippers — makes it easier for the little ones to get dressed on their own.
Overall Cost: I reviewed their entire catalog and at first glance, I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost for many of their items bearing in mind that all costumes are specifically designed for active children with big imaginations and the fact that these costumes are 100% machine-washable.
Available Selection: They have an array of costumes for both girls and boys — and mom too.
