Weekly Menu No. 20 (Slow-Cooker/Freeze Ahead Meals)

This week I’m feeling tired, and I just want to keep dinner simple and easy to make. I browsed the web, checked with google and then compiled my list of easy go-to meals.

I’m sharing the menu with you now, and all week I’ll be posting my easy-to-follow guide on how to make these meals from your very own kitchen. These meals are quick to assemble, require few ingredients and the best part — you can toss it all into a slow-cooker and have dinner ready with little to no work at the end of a long, hard work day.

As always, please remember, I post my weekly list to encourage menu planning and to give meal ideas, not as a nutritional standard. You should feed your family based on your priorities and values.

Here are the selected meals for this week.

Monday: Slow-Cooker Creamy Ranch Pork Chops
Tuesday: Slow-Cooker Chicken Broccoli Alfredo
Wednesday: Slow-Cooker Meatball Stroganoff
Thursday: Loaded Baked Potatoes and Salad
Friday: Slow-Cooker Nacho Chicken with Mixed Vegetables
Saturday: Slow-Cooker Beef Pot Roast
Sunday: Spaghetti with slow-cooker meat sauce.

What are your favorite meals to make in a slow-cooker?

  1. I never owned a slow cooker but with our instant pot as long as I prep ahead I can get dinner on the table quickly. I am also tired this week and need fast and easy. I’m going to see which recipes can be converted.

  2. Some great recipes here, with a few small changes I can make then veggie too, which is awesome. Thanks for sharing!

  3. The slow cooker recipes sound really good. I particularly have to try the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!!

  4. Looks like you just created our menu for next week. We have many after school activities and having a slower cooker menu has saved us countless times from it turning into a fast food nights.

  5. Mmmmm, I love to use my slow cooker so it’s no hassle when I get home from work. Your creamy pork recipe sounds delicious! Can’t wait to see how they all turn out!

  6. These all sound so delicious! I need to start making more freeze-ahead meal options (to prep on the weekends), because sometimes it can be such a mess trying to cook in the middle of a busy week, that I resort to ordering out, or eating unhealthy microwave options at home.
