Weekly Menu No. 22

Wow, another crazy week!! Ethan kept us on our toes with three hockey games since Wednesday, and he was killin’ it, seven goals and three assists, the boy was on fire. Yes, I’m that mom who brags just a little every now and again. Oh, that’s you too? Hi5 Mom.

This week with dinner, we are shaking it up with some new online finds, so let me know what you think.

As always, please remember, I post my weekly list to encourage menu planning and to give meal ideas, not as a nutritional standard. You should feed your family based on your priorities and values.

Here are the selected meals for this week.

Monday: Cheesy Taco Bake
Tuesday: Maple-Dijon Glazed Chicken
Wednesday: Meatball Subs with Garden Salad
Thursday: Creamy Crockpot Chicken
Friday: Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs
Saturday: Honey Baked Ham
Sunday: Meatloaf

What was the highlight from last week? Also, share your dinner plans with us here.

  1. Do you all decide together what you want on the menu that week? I find it helpful to throw it open to the family sometimes, just because they remember something I forgot I even cook now and then!

  2. Some good Options here for inspiration. I stick to making Weekday meals that do not take more than 30 mins and find fish, chicken, mince and slow cooked recipe pretty helpful! I resort to adding different kinds of world spice blends to bring in different flavours at least 3/4 times a week.

  3. It is such a relief to have the meals planned for the week, nothing worse than coming home after a long day and staring into the freezer/fridge and trying to figure out what to make. Especially great when moms are busy taking kids to sports games! That Chicken dish sounds yummy, we will have to check it out.

  4. I’m envious that you are organized enough to be on top of a meal plan. Our plan is “make sure to pick the kids up from afterschool care with enough time to get a bagel down their throat before dance classes start at 6!” Wed and Fri are the 2 nights in the week I can actually make something to eat because we actually go home after work and school.

    1. That’s tough, I’m lucky enough that my husband is home during the day to actually get these meals made while I’m at work.
